Outsourcing this level of support and technology reduces organizational strain enabling IT to focus on improving business integration and innovation. This is not just an infrastructure monitoring problem, so picking a company who understands service management and service warranty is a must. 2) While grouping services, it is imperative that organizations look at their services and determine - what are those t...

ROBOBAK Completes MSPAlliance Vendor Accreditation Program
ROBOBAK joins vendor-neutral program for benchmarking service-enabling technology vendors worldwide

ROBOBAK has announced that it has received accreditation under the MSPAlliance's (MSPA) Vendor Accreditation Program (VAP). VAP is specifically designed by managed service providers (MSPs) as a benchmark for vendors who sell to the MSP community. Vendors who bear the VAP seal have shown they abide by the highest principles of quality in areas such as financial stability, positive channel practices, product research and development, and MSP customer satisfaction.

VAP was created using a wide base of criteria considered as critical by MSPs when selecting a vendor. Criteria examined during the accreditation process include:

  • Business practices: Focusing on channel development, channel competition safeguards, experience in the managed services industry, etc.
  • Product Roadmap: Examining the vendor's willingness to invest in their products in order to ensure continued relevance for the MSPs on a continued basis.
  • Financial: Examination of financial stability to ensure adequate support of channel initiatives and product development.
  • Client References: Vendor must provide at least three MSP specific client references.

"Managed service providers are a key element in our success. As such, our accreditation by the MSPAlliance verifies our commitment to the channel," said Ron Roberts, ROBOBAK's President and Chief Executive Officer. "The wide range of features in ROBOBAK's v9 Data Protection Suite enables MSPs to install and deliver data protection capabilities for their clients across the widest range, without having to focus on time-consuming tasks such as on-site installation and management." Roberts noted that ROBOBAK's Thin Backup Option for Exchange (TBO-E) allows MSPs and their clients to protect all sizes of Exchange databases from gigabytes to multiple terabytes in a fraction of the time of competing solutions.  This, he said, enables them to reliably accomplish backups faster using less bandwidth.

ROBOBAK's v9 Data Protection Suite software is available exclusively through its worldwide channel of resellers and managed service providers.  More information can be obtained at www.robobak.com.
