ProjectLocker Announces Free Hosting
ProjectLocker announces a new free offering.

ProjectLocker (www.projectlocker.com), the Internet's leading provider of rapidly deployable advanced software quality tools, today announced the release of ProjectLocker Free, a new service level for its popular suite of software quality tools that it's now offering to the public at no charge to subscribers.

As Runako Godfrey, CEO of ProjectLocker, states, “We feel that, especially in a business environment as challenging as today's, now is not the time for companies to sacrifice the quality of their software products. It's our hope that our new Free offering gives our clients who may be struggling with their software licensing budgets now a fully featured alternative toolset that lets them continue to deliver the most robust software to their own customers.”

All ProjectLocker Free accounts begin with 300MB of storage space, 2 user logins, and the ability to create unlimited projects with Trac for bug tracking, wiki, and project management and either Subversion or Git for source control. Free accounts receive nearly all of the features present in the other ProjectLocker service levels, including SSL encryption; redundant RAID storage & hourly data backups; unlimited bandwidth transfer; integration with Rally Software, Basecamp, FogBugz, Twitter, & Jabber; and direct application deployment from your source code repository via FTP, SFTP, SCP, or to Mor.ph.

ProjectLocker Free users can increase the storage limits or number of user logins on their account either by directly purchasing one of ProjectLocker's higher service levels or by referring other software development teams to use ProjectLocker Free with one of the invitations they receive as a part of their initial signup. Users earn an additional 10MB of storage space for their account for every invite they send, 50MB for every invitee who signs up, and a new user login for every 5th signup. Because ProjectLocker Free is ad-supported, users will never be forced into a paid service level to maintain their accounts.

New users who wish to subscribe to the new service level can sign up at http://www.projectlocker.com/free. They can also continue to order ProjectLocker's Seed, Angel, Venture, and Equity service levels at http://www.projectlocker.com/signup/startup. Any Enterprise service level price quotes and all other inquiries should be directed to sales@projectlocker.com.
