The MIT Sloan CFO Summit, the nation’s premier one-day CFO conference, attracts 500+ CFOs and senior financial executives. The 17th annual Summit will explore “The Durable CFO: Results and Reinvention” and is scheduled for Thursday, November 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Boston Marriott Newton in Newton, MA.
Founded in 2002, the event brings together financial executives from around the world and leading faculty from MIT to learn and discuss high level strategies, practical insights and the integration of knowledge and creativity. This year’s speaker line-up includes CFOs from Cruise, Etsy, Legal Seafoods, Lime, Peloton, the Boston Red Sox, Twitter and many more.
“Chief Financial Officers hold responsibility not only for today’s results, but also for tomorrow’s reinvention,” said Jeremy Seidman, Chair of the MIT Sloan CFO Summit. “When you think about all the considerations that come into play – strategy, operations, persistence and innovation – it’s important to have a mix of education, experience and peer networking.”
Other panel sessions include: “Finance 2.0: Building a Programmatic M&A and Divesture Strategy,” “Negotiation 2.0: Driving the Team to Think Differently; Scenario Planning: Green, Yellow & Red; Prioritizing Operational Excellence; Workplace for the Future: Reinventing Technology, Processes and People; and Moneyball for the CFO.
