Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Solarflare Announces Industry's First Market Data Applications for FPGA-Based ApplicationOnload Engine
Line Arbitration and Resilient Ethernet Market Data Applications Are Currently Installed, Delivering Over 2X Performance Improvement and Enabling Server Consolidation, All With Plug-and-Play Ease of Deployment

IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/14/13 -- Solarflare, the leader in application-intelligent 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) networking software and hardware, today announced the deployment of the first two applications for the ApplicationOnload™ Engine (AOE) -- Line Arbitration and Resilient Ethernet. The launch of these AOE applications will help transform the way financial institutions manage and process data feeds, maintaining ultra-low latency while improving reliability.

Announced in early 2012, Solarflare's AOE represents the next step in the evolution of application acceleration, placing Solarflare on the leading edge of the Custom Compute wave. With the introduction of the AOE's first two platform applications, Solarflare's breakthrough technology will allow redundant User Datagram Protocol (UDP) multicast feeds to be transparently arbitrated within FPGA-based hardware on a network server adapter, significantly reducing host server processing load.

Typically, the delivery of UDP multicast feeds is subject to dropped packets, mitigated by redundant data streams. Line arbitration is being performed at line rate on the AOE, greatly accelerating application processing and providing the lowest deterministic latency with improved reliability. By arbitrating feeds in the FPGA, the effective message rate to the server is cut in half, allowing servers to more effectively handle increasing trading volume and providing the opportunity for server consolidation. Solarflare has a proven track record within the financial services industry, providing over 600 customers worldwide with technology that significantly improves network performance, latency and jitter. The AOE platform represents Solarflare's latest breakthrough in application acceleration.

Solarflare's other new application -- Resilient Ethernet -- provides a redundant Ethernet data stream between publishers and consumers that is fully transparent to the application software. This AOE application ensures a higher degree of reliability that improves financial data delivery performance, reduces CPU processing load and provides industry-leading, ultra-low latency. All without requiring any changes to application software.

"With the release of the AOE's first two applications, Solarflare once again serves the financial services market through the delivery of application-intelligent networking. With the proliferation of network data, the AOE provides the ideal technology going forward to cope with the challenge of ever-increasing processing demands. Throwing more cores at this issue is obviously not the answer," said Russell Stern, CEO of Solarflare. "The launch of these two AOE applications, however, is just the tip of the iceberg. When it comes to unlocking the potential of the AOE platform, a myriad of companies can now accelerate a vast array of applications in a multitude of vertical market segments."
