Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. (ADTI) Drone Systems and UAV Payloads Offering Solutions for Domestic and International Border Security

ANAHEIM, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/11/13 -- Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ADCF) announced today the Company is building alliances both domestically and globally positioning itself as a key technology provider of drone systems and UAV payloads for border security. ADTI expects international markets to be the immediate areas of interest for product development, manufacturing and revenue generation. India is an exciting and large initial target market with the expectations that a successful demonstration of ADTI UAV technology will attract a number of other countries in the Indian sub-continent, Middle East, and Africa.

The use of drones and UAVs in border security missions around the world is expanding rapidly as more and more nations rely on UAV operations for their border security needs. The Company expects this expansion to create new markets and new business opportunities for drone system and UAV payload providers. With strategic technology partners such as AeroSpy, that's particularly true for integrated capabilities and turnkey payload packages envisioned to be offered by ADTI that include equipment, training, operations and maintenance.

Market demand is expected specifically in India where vast areas of land and sea are not effectively monitored. Coastal waters in India alone exceed over 4000 miles and border with Pakistan and China exceeds over 2000 miles. ADTI's plans include extension of the ADTI drone systems and UAV payload applications to antipiracy areas. Antipiracy actions are serious requirements for safety of ships, oil tankers and other carriers in the Indian Ocean.

R.S. Tahim, President and CEO of Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc., stated, "A variety of scanning, detection and protection capabilities can be deployed and refined in the growing market for domestic and international border security. Moreover, the scope for integration of current protective measures is considerable. A host of new technologies and inventive applications of current equipment is required to secure states from threats to their populations, assets and infrastructures."
