SParikh wrote: This article speaks true to the importance and capitalizing of the cloud. Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

The School of Education at Manhattanville College

PURCHASE, NEW YORK -- (Marketwire) -- 02/08/13 -- The Manhattanville College School of Education is constantly innovating and evolving when it comes to developing programs, preparing students to meet licensing requirements, helping teachers and leaders to succeed in classrooms and schools, and cultivating critical stakeholders at the local, state and national levels. This is why we're the premier, go-to school of education in the tri-state region.

The Manhattanville College School of Education faculty members are leaders in the education field. The School of Education is noted for the quality of its faculty and the value of its partnerships with school districts and the community. This means students are not only taught by faculty who meet national standards, but they are also placed in schools for field-based courses, internships, field observations, after-school projects, action research projects and student teaching to really learn what it means to teach increasingly diverse student populations. The School of Education faculty is committed to providing real-world learning by bringing current, practical information to the classroom. The faculty is also involved in alumni and student programs. This provides a wonderful opportunity for Teaching Degree candidates to cultivate life-long relationships with leaders in the education field.

The School of Education is constantly adding new graduate school programs in order to prepare students for evolving trends in the education field. New programs include a Masters in Professional Studies (MPS) in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education, as well as certificates in Special Education, Health Education, Childhood and Education for Sustainability. For those seeking an alternative to classroom certification, an Educational Studies Degree paves the way for career advancement in such education-related fields as children's publishing and media, museums, libraries and not-for-profit organizations.

The School of Education offers its programs and courses at additional locations, including our partner Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES, located in Yorktown, New York. At this site, we offer master's degrees in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) and Literacy (Birth - Grade 6), as well as an Advanced Certificate in Special Education (Grades 7-12). We also offer coursework at this location in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for those interested in becoming Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES also is where many of our doctoral courses are offered.

We invite you to be a part of a community of educators that provides lifelong professional support and connections. Students are supported by faculty and advisors, and graduates are part of a powerful alumni network.
