Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Go Daddy Selects A10 Networks for Large Scale Cisco ACE Replacement

A10 Networks™, the technology leader in Application Networking, today announced that Go Daddy, the world’s largest domain name, Web hosting and new SSL certificates provider, selected A10’s AX Series Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) for its rapidly growing Web hosting business.

Go Daddy’s growing Web hosting business faces increasing computing demands as it acquires new customers and looks to meet the needs of existing customers’ evolving Web requirements. Go Daddy selected A10’s high-performance 64-bit AX Series appliances for a large-scale Cisco replacement as they are able to improve the consolidation ratio by 8X per High Availability (HA) pair, while simultaneously delivering resiliency, extremely fast failover and security protection.

“Go Daddy offers dynamic, scalable and multi-server Web hosting solutions to our customers,” said Go Daddy Director of Networking Tim Parker. “Small business customer success online is largely influenced by the technology and support employed. Using A10, we are able to provide the same, top-level service our nearly 11 million customers have come to expect while improving reliability and keeping costs down.”

“We are proud to deliver A10’s exceptionally efficient and versatile Advanced Core OS (ACOS) solutions that are required to enable Go Daddy’s high growth Web hosting business without compromising on features, flexibility or value,” said Lee Chen, Founder and CEO of A10 Networks. “With our AX Series ADCS powered by ACOS, we deliver high-growth hosting and Cloud providers, such as Go Daddy, with easy-to-use advanced solutions in optimal form factors to deliver a competitive advantage with differentiated services.”

Go Daddy has deployed the AX Series in its core North American data center in addition to several International data centers. To seamlessly manage its rapidly increasing customer traffic and accompanying AX Series appliances, Go Daddy leverages A10’s aGalaxy centralized management solution, which further streamlines operations.
