John of God, a renowned Brazilian Medium will be live in Canada for the first time at Metro Toronto Convention Centre on March 15, 16 & 17, 2013.

John of God is world renowned for his healing powers. People swear by him. Oprah has visited him. Acclaimed author Wayne Dyer credits him with healing his leukemia. Stories abound of people discarding their wheelchairs and crutches. But few can make the trek to this small Brazilian town in which he lives. Now, for the first time, John of God is coming to Toronto, Canada. In the words of this humble man, "God is the one who heals, I am merely an instrument in God's divine hands."

John of God will lead us in a spiritual meditation and healing event over three full days. Upon arrival, participants will be divided into two groups. The first group will go in front of John of God in the morning and meditate in "current" with John of God in the afternoon. The second group will do the opposite. There will be a lunch break from approximately 12 pm to 2 pm. Those individuals chosen for a spiritual intervention during the afternoon will be invited to return the following morning for their spiritual intervention at no added cost. Proceeds of his healing events go into funding of projects benefiting those in need.

It is estimated that in the last 58 years, Joao Teixeira de Faria, internationally known as John of God or Joao de Deus, has treated millions of people all over the world; he is arguably the most significant healer alive today. He is followed and adored by people from all over the world, regardless of gender and ethnicity. He has no formal medical training and makes no claims. He merely gives over his consciousness and incorporates the spirits of past doctors and saints. These entities give talks, examine the waiting masses and conduct visible and invisible operations.

Born in 1942 in the village of Cachoeira da Fumaca in the central state of Goias, John of God experienced a difficult childhood, leaving school after only two years to help support his struggling family. As a teenager traveling the country looking for work, he followed a vision and found himself at the Spiritist Center of Christ the Redeemer near Campo Grande, Mato Grosso. It was there that Joao had his first experience as a medium and healer. He later became a successful businessman, opening his healing center in 1976, called the "Casa de Dom Inacio", in Abadiania, Brazil, a place where anyone can be seen for no cost.

Tickets available online at www.johnofgodlive.com and are priced at $188 (one-day) to $514 (three-day) plus HST.

“Vote early and vote often.” Back in the 1920s and ’30s, when neither election technology nor oversight were as effective as they are today, and the likes of Al Capone were at work gaming the system, this phrase wasn’t a joke. It was a best practice. If you want guaranteed results, wh...
