Everbridge and Nixle Partner to Bring Enhanced Email and Voice Capabilities to Local Government Agencies and K-12 Schools

Everbridge, the leading provider of interactive communication and mass notification solutions, and Nixle, the leading provider of local community alert services have announced a partnership that will allow Nixle to integrate key Everbridge voice and email capabilities into their community alerting platform. The announcement with Nixle supports a key tenet in the Everbridge business plan to grow revenue through strategic partnerships that extend the reach and widespread adoption of Everbridge solutions.

Nixle is best known as a provider of free community alert services for local police and fire departments, as well as K-12 schools throughout the country. As part of its ongoing commitment to help its clients deploy public alerts strategies to offer news and information that is both proximate and personally relevant, the company recently decided to add voice and enhanced email capabilities from Everbridge. These capabilities will provide Nixle clients with additional contact paths and improve their ability to get critical messages to their intended recipients.

“Everbridge has established a reputation in the mass communication industry for its vision and product development innovation,” said Eric Liu, CEO, Nixle. “When Nixle decided to add new voice and enhanced email contact path capabilities for our more than 6,000 clients, we selected Everbridge as the ideal partner.”

“With four technology patents for innovation in the mass notification industry, Everbridge takes its commitment to provide the most advanced capabilities for helping our clients protect lives and property very seriously,” said Jaime Ellertson, CEO, Everbridge. “Nixle’s decision to utilize key Everbridge voice and email notification capabilities in their solution underscores their dedication to supporting their clients’ public alerts strategy in the best way possible.”
