Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Information Builders Expands International Operations With New European Headquarters
Business Intelligence Leader Establishes Dedicated Amsterdam Office to Support Growing Global Customer Base

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS -- (Marketwire) -- 02/05/13 -- Information Builders, a leader in business intelligence (BI) and analytics, information integrity, and integration solutions, today announced the opening of its European headquarters to support its expanding global customer base. Located in greater Amsterdam, the new office will support all of Information Builders' subsidiaries in its European markets.

Information Builders is focused on the region as a key area for continued expansion. Establishing a regional headquarters enables the company to better meet this goal by strengthening its existing relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers; increasing new business activity across multiple sectors; and providing more centralized service to both customers and our countrywide offices.

"Europe is an important market for us and it is imperative that we continue to focus and grow in this region," said David Small, senior vice president of International Sales. "Our customers have asked us to provide more central support to them across Europe and establishing a European headquarters enables us to do that."

As part of its expansion, Information Builders has appointed Dennis Bartels as vice president, European Headquarters. An industry veteran, Dennis has been with Information Builders for 20 years and will draw on his deep knowledge of the company and its products to further grow its presence in the region. Dennis will report to David Small. In addition, numerous members of Information Builders' international leadership team will be based in the European headquarters, among them Roland Kinket, director, EMEA Professional Services and Anoma van Eeden, director, International Marketing.

"In the five years that Sligro has worked with Information Builders we've been impressed with the company's commitment to its customers," said Maurice van Veghel, CIO at Sligro. "By opening a European headquarters, the company is taking this commitment one step further and, at the same time, demonstrating its confidence in the strength of the global BI market. We look forward to reaping the benefits of Information Builders' enhanced European presence and seeing the company continue to build upon its strong regional foundation."

"Our newly established European headquarters allows us to capitalize on this success, work more closely with our existing customers, and forge relationships with new organizations seeking the deep insights advanced BI solutions can deliver," said Gerald Cohen, president and CEO of Information Builders.
