Make It Your Own – Rich Health Content from AXA PPP Healthcare

AXA PPP has launched its new web presence to give all site visitors easier access to a wealth of health information and support to help them become better informed and, in turn, better placed to take better charge of their health and wellbeing.

The site features dedicated centres on allergies, cancer, heart disease, mental health, musculoskeletal problems, and pregnancy & childcare, with regular newsposts and features to keep visitors up to date on trends and the latest developments from the world of medicine. Visitors can also engage with the healthcare company’s medical experts (doctors, dieticians and fitness and behaviour professionals) in live chats or email them anytime for answers to their questions.

To put them in the picture, visitors can access over 900 factsheets on topics from abdominal aortic aneurysm to yellow fever.

And the site’s not just for people who are feeling ill or worried – with over 170 recipes, webposts and videos to choose from, it’s a rich source of information and inspiration on diet & nutrition, getting fit and staying well.

AXA PPP members can also create their own secure, personal sections to access information about their healthcare cover and membership and, if they should become ill or injured, authorise and track their claims. They can also personalise their sections with links to health topics, with AXA PPP responding, in turn, with a steady flow of tips and further reading suggestions based on their preferences.

AXA PPP’s head of e.business Richard Cooper said:

‘The expansion is a big step forward in giving our members – and members of the public – easier access to rich health content they can use as much as they wish.

‘We want to be a part of people’s everyday thinking about health and wellbeing – a trusted source they can to turn to for information, insight and help with their questions and concerns for their loved ones and themselves.’
