Sage Hill School to Launch New $7.5 Million Science Center Development Campaign

Sage Hill School, one of California’s leading college preparatory private high schools, will announce a $7.5 Million “Campaign For Innovative Learning” development campaign to build a new, leading-edge Science Center on its Newport Coast, CA campus.

With $3 Million in private donor support already pledged, Sage Hill is now expanding its community outreach efforts to include Southern California corporations interested in Science Center naming rights opportunities, strategic science-based partnerships, in-kind donations and internships; Foundation grants; individual donations; and strategic partnerships with prominent universities, science museums and scientists.

Following a VIP Reception and Media interview opportunities with Sage Hill’s new Science Advisory Team, Dr. Arthur Lander will kick-off the new Science Center Campaign by presenting a public lecture on Systems Biology -- the second in Sage Hill’s Science Lecture Series. He is an M.D., Ph.D. and Professor of Developmental and Cell Biology and Biomedical Engineering at UCI, and Director of the Center for Complex Biological Systems, an NIGMS National Center for Systems Biology. His inspiring, thought-provoking lecture and audience Q&A session will center on the emerging, interdisciplinary direction of the biological sciences.
