Resonate Named as a Best Place to Work in Virginia

RESTON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/01/13 -- Resonate, the only advertising technology company that gives marketers the ability to target audiences based on people's values, was recently named as one of the 2013 Best Places to Work in Virginia. The annual list of "Best Places to Work" was created by Virginia Business and Best Companies Group.

This survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Virginia, benefiting the state's economy, its work force and businesses. The Best Places to Work in Virginia list is made up of a total of 80 companies, split into three groups: 39 small employers (fewer than 100 employees) 15 mid-sized employers (100-250 employees), and 26 large-sized employers (more than 250 employees). Resonate has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Virginia in the small category.

"We are incredibly proud to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Virginia," said Bryan Gernert, CEO of Resonate. "At Resonate, we focus on enabling marketers to identify the core values of their target audiences in order to help them engage more effectively. This award is a testament to the fact that we practice what we preach by ensuring that internally we understand our staff's values and provide them with a work environment that promotes creativity, openness, mutual-respect and growth."

Organizations from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Virginia. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top organizations and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determined the final rankings.

The rankings of the 3rd annual Best Places to Work in Virginia will be unveiled and published in the February 2013 issue of Virginia Business.
