Laser Energetics Announces Ret. 33-Year Veteran of the FDA-CDRH Has Joined Its Dazer Laser(R) Team to Assist in Achieving Compliance With US FDA Regulations

MERCERVILLE, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 01/28/13 -- Laser Energetics, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: LNGT) today reported that they have officially hired Consultant Jerome E. Dennis to assist the company in bringing its Dazer Laser® products into full compliance with the requirements of the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Mr. Dennis retired with more than three decades of experience within the agency, where he served as the International expert in Lasers and Optical Radiation Safety and Safety Standards. He has had the highest leadership roles in international and national standards organizations such as serving as the Chairman of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Technical Committee 76 on optical radiation safety and laser equipment, and as Past Vice Chairman of the ANSI Z136 standards, committee, which our Dazer Laser® Products full comply. In 2010, he received the highest level award, the Lord Kelvin Award, from the IEC.

"I have been working with laser products in research and manufacturing firms and in government for more than 50 years and have seen many new technologies evolve during my many years of experience. As I am now assisting Laser Energetics through its US Government and FDA Compliance, the Company's innovation with its Dazer Laser® GUARDIAN is expected to be fully compliant with the FDA 21CFR Regulations very shortly. This FDA Compliance would be in addition to the Dazer Laser® GUARDIAN's compliance with the ANSI Z136 Standards due to its unmatched Optical designs which provide the required safety mechanisms necessary for Compliance," says Jerome Dennis.

Robert D. Battis, CEO, President and Founder of Laser Energetics, Inc., stated, "Mr. Dennis brings us decades of experience to quickly navigate through successful FDA Compliance, allowing us to provide Government, Law Enforcement and Security Organizations with no limitations on the quantity of sales compared to our previously smaller Test & Evaluation orders. Laser Energetics can promote our Dazer Laser® Products as the safest and most effective systems available in the world. FDA Compliance enhances these statements and allows the Company to market and sell its Products to all Government, Law Enforcement and Security Organizations on a much larger (unlimited) scale. We thank you for your continued support as we continue to break through the Optical Distractor and Non-Lethal markets around the World with our Dazer Laser® Products as FDA Compliance solidifies our rapidly expanding position in the marketplace."
