Hamilton Lane Expands its Europe-based Team with Senior Executive
Paul Waller Joins as Partner Based in London Office

BALA CYNWYD, Pa., Jan. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hamilton Lane, a leading global private equity asset management firm, today announced that it is expanding its Europe-based presence with the addition of Paul Waller to the newly-created role of Partner in its London office.

Waller will focus primarily on client development and overall firm marketing initiatives. He will also draw upon his extensive experience and background in private equity investment and alternative assets to provide strategic support to the firm.

Waller, who recently retired from 3i after 35 years, brings a wealth of investment knowledge and a broad network throughout Europe and the Middle East, as well as Asia and North America. At 3i, Waller served as a Managing Partner of the firm, with responsibility for investor relations and fundraising. He also previously served as co-chair of the firm's Investment Committee. Waller will continue to hold various board seats and other advisory roles while working with Hamilton Lane in a part-time capacity.

Waller has over three decades of private equity investment experience, having joined 3i in 1978. Waller is a former Chairman of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EVCA) and previously chaired the EVCA Investor Relations Committee.
