I do not agree that NewSQL vendors focus on giving scale-out features to transactional data. The NewSQL market is focusing on giving true ACID support combined with extreme performance, stepping away from the traditional relational structures in databases. A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

ParAccel Expands Global Presence With Three New Partnerships in EMEA

CAMPBELL, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/21/13 -- ParAccel, a leading analytics platform provider, today announced three new reseller partnerships in EMEA. The new resellers, located in Benelux, Israel and Slovenia, will now provide big data analytics solutions for new customers, as well as expanding local support to ParAccel's current customers, in those countries and regions.

The three new partnerships focus on providing business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing solutions alongside ParAccel to allow organizations to drive business and innovation.

Demonstrating early traction with the new relationships, ParAccel has already signed two new customers in the financial and communications industries for risk analytics, trading analytics and network analytics. With over 30 pending deals from the new resellers, ParAccel is continuing its company momentum both in US and global markets.

Inergy is a European leader in BI cloud services and data warehouse solutions. "ParAccel's performance, enabled by columnar data storage and massively parallel processing power, allows for lean and mean data warehouse architectures consisting of less layers than traditional architectures," said Mathijs van Houweninge, Owner and General Director, Inergy. "Lower TCO and shorter time-to-market enable customers to rapidly respond to changing market conditions and business challenges. ParAccel's technology adds real value to business and IT."

MidLink, headquartered in Israel, focuses on deploying database solutions, and was attracted by ParAccel's innovations in on-demand integration, in-database analytics and performance. "Many of our customers are looking for leading, out-of-the-box analytics solutions to implement completely new data warehouses or optimize the ones already in place," said Sam Babab, CEO of MidLink Computing.

CRMT focuses on BI and data management, and selected ParAccel as the best solution for advanced analytics for their regional market, according to Slavko Kastelic, founder and business development of CRMT. "We are also very confident that ParAccel will continue to lead with innovation in this area enabling our customers to be even more successful in their analytic based businesses," Kastelic said.

"Our new partners further validate that the analytics market is growing and will continue to grow as companies realize the untapped value of their data investments. ParAccel is deepening its industry expertise by working closely with partners to define new analytic solutions that drive competitive advantage for our customers," said Chuck Berger, CEO of ParAccel.
