3M Opens New Innovation Center in Silver Spring, Maryland

SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwire) -- 01/10/13 -- 3M Health Information Systems today announced it is bringing technology innovation even closer to customers with the opening of the 3M Innovation Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. The new Innovation Center is dedicated to collaboration between 3M Health Information Systems and hospitals, health systems, payers, government agencies and business partners in a state-of-the art interactive environment where clients can work with 3M to develop customized solutions that address their greatest business challenges. The new 3M Innovation Center offers a dynamic experience, telling the story of 3M Health Information Systems and introducing visitors to the full array of 3M health information technology solutions and consulting services. The launch of the Silver Spring Innovation Center follows the 2011 opening of the 3M Innovation Center at 3M Health Information Systems headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
