United Technologies Corp. Reaffirms 2013 Outlook

HARTFORD, Conn., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) today reaffirmed its expectations for 2013 earnings per share in the range of $5.85 to $6.15 on sales of $64 billion to $65 billion, and cash flow from operations less capital expenditures equal to or in excess of net income attributable to common shareowners.

Today's announcement that Embraer has selected Pratt & Whitney's PurePower PW1700G and PW1900G engines as the exclusive power for its new second generation E-Jet aircraft family is expected to have no impact on UTC's 2013 financial outlook as communicated to investors in December.

United Technologies, based in Hartford, Conn., is a diversified company that provides high technology products and services to the building and aerospace industries.
