Dry Fried Wing Company Announces January 18th Grand Opening at The Box
"Wilmington 10" Salute Highlights Inaugural Weekend Celebration

FT LAUDERDALE, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/08/13 -- Dry Fried Wing Company (OTCQB: EEDG) will be launching its Sports Bar and Restaurant co-branding operations with an Inaugural Weekend-long celebration at The Box Bar and Grill in Bethesda, MD.

Highlighting the weekend at The Box is a January 18th salute to the six surviving members of the recently pardoned "Wilmington 10," led by EEDG's newly named Chairman, Dr. Benjamin Chavis. Dr. Chavis and nine other young activists were wrongly imprisoned on false charges of arson in connection with civil rights demonstrations in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1971. The convictions were overturned on appeal in 1980, and North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue granted a pardon of innocence on Dec. 31, 2012.

Dr. Chavis has been one of the world's foremost civil rights leaders dating all the way back to his exemplary work with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his service as former Executive Director of the NAACP. With the vindication of receiving the first pardon of its kind ever issued by the Governor of North Carolina, Dr. Chavis and his former students, who stood together through 40 years of torment and turmoil, will be saluted for their long perseverance and indomitable spirit in a once in a lifetime celebration to kick off this most historic weekend.

"I am trying to convey a message of economic empowerment through entrepreneurship," said Chavis. "The Dry Fried Wing Company is a perfect example of how to build businesses and good jobs through creativity and hard work. We are a new company with a truly special potential to make a difference in the economic development of our communities."

Building on a highly successful roll out in Ft. Lauderdale, Dry Fried Wing Company is now taking their San Francisco Sensation national. The opening of Dried Fried Wings inside The Box marks the first co-branded sports bar location for the Company as it continues to roll out its licensing and franchising programs in key markets. The Company will be involved in major events throughout Inauguration Weekend and will utilize these opportunities to showcase their breakthrough products and growth strategies.
