Smith & Wesson Security Solutions Awarded $63 Million U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contract

FRANKLIN, Tenn., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FutureNet Security Solutions, LLC d/b/a Smith & Wesson Security Solutions (SWSS), a leading turn-key provider of perimeter security solutions, today announced that the company has received a $63 million maintenance and service contract from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC), to provide services at CONUS and OCONUS Department of Defense installations.

This critical United States Army Corps of Engineers Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) has the total capacity within the Unrestricted Suite of $315 million over a period of five years.  On task orders issued under this MATOC, SWSS will perform worldwide maintenance and service for various access control point systems, electronic security systems, utility monitoring and control systems, physical security systems, and other related systems.  The company will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform routine maintenance services, corrective maintenance services, and emergency repair services.
