7Layers Acquisition Accelerates Bureau Veritas' Development in the Wireless and Mobile Industry

Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of 7Layers, a specialist in wireless electronic products testing, certification and engineering solutions, headquartered in Germany.

7Layers' expertise, global coverage and established position will complement Bureau Veritas' existing presence within global brands and their supply chains.

This acquisition positions Bureau Veritas as a global leader in wireless testing, almost doubling its footprint in a fast growing market. Since its foundation in 1999, 7Layers has been offering integrated solutions to mobile device manufacturers, suppliers of electronics parts as well as telecommunication network operators.
