Top loan producer and sales leader promoted to new executive role

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Residential Finance Corporation, an award-winning nationwide home mortgage lender, has promoted Joe Buxton to the position of vice president of sales. In his new role, Buxton will oversee and manage the company's branch managers in Columbus, Ohio and develop sales strategies to further Residential Finance's market growth.

"Joe has demonstrated great success in sales during his tenure at Residential Finance, so he was a natural choice for this position," said Mark Fowler, chief revenue officer and vice president of production for Residential Finance. Buxton has won numerous awards during his tenure at Residential Finance, including the President's Club Award for Excellence in Sales Management for the last three years.

"I'm very excited about my new, expanded role," Buxton said. "As we continue to increase our sales force to keep up with the company's growth, my focus will be on recruiting, training and developing future leaders and broadening our Realtor referral program. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year."
