Residential Finance Appoints Joe Buxton Vice President of Sales
Top loan producer and sales leader promoted to new executive role

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Residential Finance Corporation, an award-winning nationwide home mortgage lender, has promoted Joe Buxton to the position of vice president of sales. In his new role, Buxton will oversee and manage the company's branch managers in Columbus, Ohio and develop sales strategies to further Residential Finance's market growth.

"Joe has demonstrated great success in sales during his tenure at Residential Finance, so he was a natural choice for this position," said Mark Fowler, chief revenue officer and vice president of production for Residential Finance. Buxton joined Residential Finance in 2006 as a loan officer and was quickly promoted to branch manager. As vice president of sales, he is responsible for fostering communication and teamwork throughout the company as well as hiring, compensation, rewards and recognition among the sales force, and enhancing the understanding and application of sales tools.

Buxton has won numerous awards during his tenure at Residential Finance, including the President's Club Award for Excellence in Sales Management for the last three years.
