Arthouse Design Creative Team Tapped to Develop Identity, Signage System & Guidelines, Building Signage and More for "Marquee" Mixed Use Development in Greenville, South Carolina

DENVER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/27/12 -- Arthouse Design (www.arthousedenver.com), a Denver-based graphic design studio offering branding, print, and electronic design, wayfinding signage programs, building signage, and environmental graphic design services worldwide, has been chosen to provide branding identity and interior signage for a Greenville, South Carolina mixed-use development comprised of two Class A office buildings with ground floor retail in Greenville, South Carolina. Arthouse Design helped develop the name of the project, 1 North Main, to depict its central location in the heart of Greenville, South Carolina's downtown area, as well as designing the building's wayfinding system and interior building signage, and developing signage standards for the development's ground floor retailers.
Hughes Development Corporation, of Greenville, South Carolina, is the project developer. 4240 Architecture, with offices in Denver, Colo. and Chicago, Ill., is the project architect.
1 North Main features a clean, contemporary design with a light, airy feel to it -- and offers a palette of white, gray, tan and terra cotta blended with black metal accents. The Arthouse Design team developed a brand, logo, and building signage that reflects the cool sophistication and zen-like simplicity of the architecture.
Arthouse Design's logo development for the project complements the modern design and conveys the idea that this development is the center, or the 'coming together,' in terms of location, according to Marty Gregg, Arthouse Design's principal and founder. "1 North Main is truly where everything comes together in the heart of Greenville. The name, logo, and building signage convey this both visually and verbally," he said.
