A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

Garden State Home Loans Enhances Employee Health Benefits
Healthy company initiative focuses on employee health benefits making it a great place to work in NJ

CHERRY HILL, N.J., Dec. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Garden State Home Loans, a New Jersey mortgage brokerage founded in 2011, has announced plans to change its employee health benefits by promoting overall health and well-being. As part of the healthy company initiative they will provide employees with organic meals purchased from Whole Foods, offer an in office massage service on Fridays, and are constructing an on-site gym at their offices on Springdale Road in Cherry Hill, NJ.

The gym, which is located in the back of their office suite, includes a flat bench, an adjustable bench, a rack of dumbbells ranging from 20 to 55 lbs, kettlebells ranging from 25 to 40 lbs, an Olympic style squat rack, various medicine balls, TRX workout bands, and a climbing rope. In addition to the equipment there will be daily P90X sessions held for those who want to participate. The gym is currently functional and is expected to be fully finished early in 2013.

"I find that I function at a much higher level when I focus on my health, and I want to spread this throughout the company," President Anthony Casa said. "We want our employees to be happy and good health enhances happiness. We want people to want to come to work, not HAVE to come to work," added CEO Justin DeJoseph. DeJoseph added that having an on-site gym would enable employees to spend more time at home with their families. Both Casa and DeJoseph said it is their mission to keep their employees happy and that the healthy company initiative is just another part of that overall mission.
