Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Who's Who in Energy? Three Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas) Directors Are
Brian Baumler, Scott Soles & Gary Voth Named to 2012 Who's Who in Energy List

HOUSTON, Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas) is pleased to announce Brian Baumler, CPA, Director, Audit; Scott Soles, CPA, Director, Audit; and Gary Voth, CPA, Director, Tax have been named to the 2012 Who's Who in Energy list published by the Houston Business Journal. Baumler and Voth were named to the inaugural list in 2011 and this is Soles' first year to make the list.

"In an energy focused city, such as Houston, it is a boon to have three talented team members like Brian, Scott and Gary," said Kenneth Guidry, CPA, President. "Their knowledge and experience in the industry is a benefit to both our clients and the firm. I congratulate them on receiving the Who's Who in Energy recognition."

Baumler leads the PKF Texas energy team. With experience on both sides of the desk as an auditor and the former corporate controller of a mid-cap oil and gas company, he understands the complexities of the industry. These skills not only translate well for PKF Texas clients, but to his position as the Co-Chair of the Energy Committee for the Houston Society of CPAs.

Soles augments the PKF Texas energy team from the risk consulting, internal control and process engineering perspective. He has spent his entire career working with international energy companies on a variety of projects around the globe.

Voth, throughout his 25 year accounting career, has worked with clients ranging from individual "Wildcatters" to multi-national oil and gas companies. His depth of knowledge has led to numerous interviews and speaking engagements, most recently moderating a panel of financial executives at the Total Energy Conference.

The Who's Who in Energy list recognizes 100 individuals from each of seven markets: Houston, Dallas, Denver, St. Louis, San Antonio, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. PKF Texas is the only firm with three individuals in Houston's Financial Services/Analysts category.
