Raynet Intensifies its North American Business

Germany-based Raynet GmbH, a solution provider for integrated and comprehensive Life Cycle Management and software packaging, has announced the founding of a completely-owned subsidiary in Chicago aimed at strengthening its international business. With registered offices in Schaumburg, Illinois, Raynet Inc. will mainly serve customers in the North American market.

The company’s new solution for efficient software deployment, “RayManageSoft,” recently acquired from Flexera Software, also based in Schaumburg, will be sold directly and jointly with partners. Dr. David W. Bowser, formerly Raynet’s Country Director for Belgium and Director Services and Technologies at Raynet GmbH has been appointed CEO and Managing Director of Raynet Inc. The new management team will include Ms. Nevin Aydin, CFO and Mr. Ragip Aydin, COO.

The subsidiary represents the most recent step in Raynet’s expansion strategy. It will facilitate liaison and service for a broadened customer base. During summer 2012 Raynet acquired Enterprise Deployment Suite (EDS) from Flexera Software and integrated it under the new name RayManageSoft into its software family, RaySuite. Raynet Inc. will handle maintenance and support of existing EDS customers and will sell RayManageSoft and RaySuite within the USA.

Raynet Inc. will be located in the same building as Flexera Software’s headquarters. The new proximity is expected to strengthen technological cooperation and intensify contact between the long-term partners. Customers of both companies will profit from the mutual exchange of knowledge and experience at the executive level.

20 years of experience in IT projects

Dr. David Bowser, a US native, holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and enjoys a proven track record in leadership excellence as Raynet’s former Country Director in Belgium. He is considered one of the most experienced IT experts in Europe with over 20 years of experience in implementing large and complex projects in heterogeneous IT environments, tailoring technological expertise with business demands. Mr. Bowser previously held the position of Director of Services and Technologies at Raynet Headquarters.

As CFO, Ms. Nevin Aydin draws on some 18 years of experience in managing private and business customers, most recently as Head of the German Desk of ING Private Banking in Luxembourg. She previously served as Director Private Wealth Management of Deutsche Bank Group. She holds a master’s degree in economics.

Founder, Owner and Managing Director of Raynet GmbH, Mr. Ragip Aydin, has been appointed to the position of COO of the subsidiary.
