Lattice iCE40 FPGA Family Named Digital Semiconductor Product of the Year
Ultra-Low Density FPGA Family Captures Coveted Elektra Award

HILLSBORO, OR -- (Marketwire) -- 12/18/12 -- Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced that its ultra-low density iCE40™ FPGA family has been named "Digital Semiconductor Product of the Year" as part of the 2012 Elektra European Electronics Industry Awards. The established annual highpoint of the electronics industry, the Elektra Awards provides the opportunity to recognize the achievements of individuals and companies across Europe. This honor caps a year of industry accolades for the innovative iCE40 devices, including the e-Legacy "Environmental Design" Award in October for energy saving and power efficiency.

Elektra Award Finalists in multiple categories were determined by a panel of independent judges, and the winners were announced December 12 at the Elektra Awards Gala Dinner, which took place at the prestigious Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London Hotel. Lattice Semiconductor was the only FPGA company to receive an award in any of the categories. A complete list of the 2012 winners and finalists is available at http://www.elektraawards.co.uk/.

"We are honored to receive this recognition from the Elektra Awards' independent judges," said Brent Przybus, Lattice Senior Director of Corporate and Product Marketing. "Our innovative, ultra-low density iCE40 FPGAs continue to receive widespread recognition in the industry and broad acceptance in the marketplace for their versatility, low cost and low power. In fact, since December 2011 Lattice has shipped 15 million iCE FPGA devices, making this the company's fastest shipping product of the past decade. The iCE40 FPGA family is leading the way in opening new markets and applications for FPGAs, including widespread adoption in consumer and mobile electronic designs."

About the iCE40 FPGA Family
The iCE40 family of FPGAs is designed for applications that have the most aggressive power, cost and footprint requirements. Ideally architected for smartphones, tablets, digital still cameras, and other space and power constrained systems, the iCE40 family uses a highly cost optimized fabric. The iCE40 FPGA family is an ideal choice for functions such as sensor management, video and imaging, custom connectivity, memory/storage expansion and glue logic.

“Vote early and vote often.” Back in the 1920s and ’30s, when neither election technology nor oversight were as effective as they are today, and the likes of Al Capone were at work gaming the system, this phrase wasn’t a joke. It was a best practice. If you want guaranteed results, wh...
