UXC Eclipse Expands Its Footprint Through Acquisition of Cole Systems
UXC Eclipse strengthens its position as a key Microsoft partner in North America

NEW YORK, Dec. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Eclipse Intelligent Solutions (USA) Inc., the USA entity of UXC Eclipse, a business unit of UXC Limited (ASX:UXC) has announced the acquisition of the shares of Cole Systems Associates, Inc. for an undisclosed value.

As part of this acquisition, the company name will change to UXC Eclipse (USA) Inc. This new name reflects the unity between Eclipse and UXC in the USA market place and will make UXC Eclipse one of the top Microsoft Dynamics resellers in North America.

"This acquisition is strategic to Eclipse's goal to be the leading Gold Microsoft Dynamics Partner world-wide and to leverage on our existing success in the Australian, Pacific and North American markets," said Bradley Stroop, Chief Executive Officer, UXC Eclipse Group.

The depth of consulting skills and Microsoft Dynamics experience within Cole Systems will extend the reach of Eclipse across the US market and add to the global Eclipse team of over 400 people and base of close to 1,300 customers.

Eclipse is already well established in the Microsoft Dynamics community and has been a member of the Microsoft Inner Circle (top 1% of Microsoft Dynamics resellers world-wide) since 2001. UXC Eclipse is also a recognized winner of over twenty Microsoft awards in the past seven years - most recently 2012 Microsoft Dynamics ERP Partner of the Year in Australia, a global finalist in the Microsoft Dynamics Reseller of the Year in 2011 and winner of Microsoft Finance (ERP) Solution of the Year, Canada in 2010.

UXC Eclipse and Cole Systems share a business model that delivers end-to-end business management solutions based on Microsoft technologies, including Dynamics AX, Dynamics GP and Dynamics CRM.

"UXC Eclipse is a Gold Partner for Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM. UXC Limited is ranked second in Business & IT Consulting and ninth in Software Support in Australia by Gartner IT Services.  We're looking to combine this experience and skill set with Cole Systems expertise in verticals in the US to deliver something very special to the Microsoft Dynamics community," said Stroop.

The UXC Eclipse Microsoft Dynamics AX customer base in the US has been built by delivering intelligent, industry-specific solutions with high levels of customer service, with a focus on mining, mining services and asset intensive industries. UXC Eclipse will extend this industry focus to include other verticals for retail, distribution and commercial printing, where Cole Systems has strong market share.

"There is a deep synergy between the approach Cole Systems and UXC Eclipse have to the Microsoft Dynamics marketplace. We have a common ethos of customer service. Bringing this focus on quality service together and aligning our vertical market offerings means we're a formidable partner in the Microsoft Dynamics community across North America," said Stroop.

Cole Systems CEO, David Weiner said of the acquisition, "This is a truly exciting time for our customers, team of professionals, and the Microsoft Dynamics community. The culture, the customer-centric approach and its maturity as a Microsoft Dynamics partner, makes UXC Eclipse an ideal fit for Cole Systems.  Being part of UXC Eclipse and UXC means we have access to global skills and infrastructure to scale the business up to a new level."

Weiner, along with founder Ivan Cole, will remain in senior roles at UXC Eclipse - under the leadership of CEO Bradley Stroop.

"This acquisition will create opportunities for existing Cole Systems staff and customers to be a part of a best-practice, world-wide Microsoft Dynamics consulting services team and most importantly share in an award winning customer service ethos," said Weiner.
