Niklas Bjorkman wrote: Firstly I agree with your conclusion. NewSQL takes the best of the traditional databases and NoSQL databases to combine the benefits of both worlds. I do not agree that NewSQL vendors focus on giving scale-out features to transactional data. The NewSQL market is focusing on giving true ACID support combined with extreme performance, stepping away from the traditional relational structures in databases. A lot of developers appreciate the ease of accessing data using SQL and I think we will see more and more databases supporting standard SQL. As you said - NewSQL databases often maintain the...

Inc. Magazine Honors Quantum Health With Inaugural Hire Power Award
Quantum Health Ranks #3 Top Job Creator in Ohio Over Past Three Years

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/14/12 -- Columbus, Ohio-based Quantum Health was featured in the inaugural ranking of Inc.'s Hire Power Awards, recognizing private businesses across the nation that have generated the most jobs in the past three years. Ranked #3 on the list of Ohio companies, the company generated 262 jobs during that timeframe. Among only 10 Ohio companies recognized, Quantum Health was the only health-related business in the state to receive the honor.

"Quantum Health is thrilled to be recognized as a top job creator by Inc. magazine, and we're glad to play a role in rebuilding the economy by putting Ohioans back to work," said Kara Trott, CEO. "We've experienced tremendous growth over the past three years, and our talented employees are continuing to help our clients take the cost and confusion out of healthcare."

Responding to the rapidly growing demand for its care coordination services, Quantum Health announced in April 2012 its commitment to create at least 525 full-time jobs over the next three years. The company expects to generate an additional $24.6 million in annual payroll (beyond its $11 million existing payroll) by hiring additional experienced nurses and Patient Service Representatives (PSRs), as well as information technology, marketing, customer engagement and other support positions.

"The top 100 companies on the list have created 73,032 American jobs in the three-year period from 2008 to 2011 -- an amazing feat, given that much of that job growth came during the heart of the recession," explains Inc. editor-in-chief Eric Schurenberg. "And it isn't just the big guys that are adding jobs. Companies with less than $50 million in annual revenue make up nearly one-third of the Hire Power list."

The inaugural Hire Power Awards will appear in Inc.'s December/January issue, as well as the brand's web site, www.inc.com. To see the 2012 Hire Power Awards recipient list for all states, visit www.inc.com/hire-power or to learn more about Quantum Health visit www.quantum-health.com.
