Enviro-Log Firelogs Now Available at Lowe's and Lowes.com

ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/12 -- Enviro-Log®, Inc., an eco-friendly, consumer products and recycling company, is pleased to announce that its earth-friendly firelogs are now available at 1,195 Lowe's® home improvement stores.

Enviro-Log Firelogs are made from 100 percent recycled waxed cardboard and are the ultimate wood substitute. When compared to firewood, Enviro-Log Firelogs burn cleaner, emitting 30 percent less greenhouse gases, 80 percent less carbon monoxide and 86 percent less creosote. Enviro-Log Firelogs also generate 50 percent more heat per pound than firewood, and are also safe to cook over. Enviro-Log Firelogs are tested safe for use in woodstoves, fireplaces, chimineas, campfires, outdoor tailgating, cookout events, and can also be used to supplement a wood fire. You can even use the ash from your Enviro-Log Firelogs as fertilizer or potting soil.

"We are very excited that Lowe's has decided to offer Enviro-Log Firelogs, which are the ultimate wood substitute," said Ross McRoy, president of Enviro-Log, Inc. "When consumers choose Enviro-Log Firelogs, not only are they reducing their own environmental impact, but they are also helping to reduce millions of tons of waxed cardboard from going into landfills every year."

Lowe's has been helping customers improve their homes for more than 60 years. It has grown from a small hardware store to the second-largest home improvement retailer worldwide. Lowe's operates more than 1,745 stores in the United States, Canada and Mexico, with each store stocking 40,000 products in 15 product categories. More information is available at www.lowes.com.
