Concierge Auctions Generates Impressive Sale Today Of Private, 112-Acre Ranch Estate In Los Angeles' Upscale Brentwood Neighborhood
In partnership with Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate, leading luxury property auction firm identifies 761 buyer prospects and 12 bidders in only four weeks

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Building upon its successful track record in the sale of premier and unique ranch estates, Concierge Auctions is pleased to announce that a secluded, 112-acre property nestled in the Mandeville Canyon known as the Robert Taylor Ranch, located on Los Angeles' west side within the affluent Brentwood community just 10 miles from Rodeo Drive, sold today at a live auction. The western-inspired ranch home, which once belonged to the famed actor of the same name, served as the backdrop for the auction, which garnered 12 bidders who vied for the 34-room, 11,700-square-foot-plus estate. The sale was conducted in cooperation with Marcie Hartley and Aaron Kirman of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate. The buyer was from Chicago and was represented by Danelle Lavin, also of Hilton & Hyland.

Concierge Auctions' four-week global marketing campaign generated 7,134 website visitors from all US states (led by California, New York, Florida and Texas) and 97 international countries (led by Canada, the UK, Australia and Singapore). 761 buyer prospects inquired with interest, and 12 bidders participated in the sale.

"The Concierge team exceeded our expectations. Their ability to infiltrate the market in such a short amount of time was highly impressive. This auction truly was a team effort, resulting in success for everyone involved," Hartley stated. "I would definitely recommend Concierge to other listing agents. They're professional and focused, their process is effective, and their team clearly understands the luxury market."

"We're very pleased with the sale of the Robert Taylor Ranch," Kirman stated. "Concierge did an amazing job identifying real buyers, resulting in success on auction day. We look forward to working with them again."

Robert Taylor Ranch is a secluded compound with 112 acres of rolling pastures and woodlands. The current structures were built in 1950 for American petroleum businessman Waite Phillips and designed by iconic architect Robert Byrd. The property includes a master suite, five additional bedrooms and five bathrooms. There is also a guest wing, staff wing with three separate apartments, pool and cabana. Additional amenities on the property include a 10-car garage, office complex, guest studio, multiple horse stables, riding arenas, north-south tennis court, spacious pastures and private riding trails that lead to Will Rogers State Historic Park. The Osterman Weekend, the 1983 Sam Peckinpah movie starring Dennis Hopper and Craig T. Nelson, among others, was filmed on the ranch.

"We knew from the onset that the Robert Taylor Ranch was ideal for auction, with its prestigious history, prime location and various ownership possibilities. Bidders jumped at the chance to own more than 100 acres in such close proximity to downtown Los Angeles for their bid price," stated Laura Brady, President of Concierge Auctions. "Our team is skilled at driving the highest market value for premier properties — it's what we do. Moreover, we were able to produce this transaction in only four weeks, after the property had previously been on the market for over four years. We're very proud of the outcome and appreciative to our partners at Hilton & Hyland."
