SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- At a celebration event last night, Altius Health Plans and CaféWell recognized 131 individuals who each walked a million or more steps in a successful new type of wellness program for Utah called Reach for the Peaks.  Over the last 11 months, Reach participants walked 1.2 billion steps, the equivalent of 521,000 miles.

Last night, Todd Trettin, Altius Health Plans' CEO, and Scott Rotermund, co-founder and President of WellTok, which created CaféWell, recognized 111 people who walked 1 million steps, 14 who walked 2 million steps, 5 who walked 3 million steps and one person who walked more than 4 million steps.  Trettin and Rotermund also recognized more than 30 people who shared their inspirational stories of success in the Reach for the Peaks.   Photos from the event are available at: http://special.cafewell.com/peaksphotos
