Guaranteed Home Mortgage Company Announces Webinar on Recruiting and Retaining Top Loan Originators

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Guaranteed Home Mortgage Company, Inc. (Guaranteed, www.ghmc.com), a national residential mortgage investment and banking firm, today announced it will be holding a webinar on how to recruit and retain loan originators. It will be held Thursday, December 6, 2 PM Eastern/11 AM Pacific, and interested parties can register for the event by clicking here.

The webinar is titled "Top LOs: How to Recruit, Train, Support and Keep Them." It will address characteristics of a great salesperson, the most productive recruitment strategies, and the creation of an optimal office environment to ensure LO longevity.

David Wind, President and CEO of Guaranteed, said, "Guaranteed is proud to continue its monthly webinar series for mortgage professionals. It's getting harder and harder to find great loan originators, especially with the changes to LO compensation plus all the other regulatory and market requirements. Our webinar will foster a new appreciation for your LOs and provide invaluable tips on how to grow your staff."

Wind, who will moderate the discussion, went on list some of the qualifications of the webinar speakers. Barbara Hargreaves, a mortgage industry management and training coach, has served since 1978 in loan origination, underwriting and appraisal management. She has run sales schools for loan officers and has consulted on relationship-building skills, leadership development and mentoring.

With more than 20 years of experience in financial sales and sales management, John Cate, Director of Branch Support for Guaranteed, has handled financial planning for American Express and served as a division sales manager for loan origination for Wachovia. An MBA, he develops strategic marketing plans and has presented sales seminars to hundreds of mortgage brokers.

Jamey Citrone, Branch Manager and Regional Director for Guaranteed, offers comprehensive hands-on experience and pragmatic advice to round out the webinar presentation. He was named the #1 LO out of 1,600 at a previous firm and, with staff retention levels exceeding a decade, he knows how to create an atmosphere conducive to both loyalty and productivity.
