GPS expands operations into Sub-Sahara Africa: New Office opens in Pretoria, South Africa

-- African nations look to Global Political Solutions (GPS) new Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Public Private Partnership (PPP) model to attract capital to the continent 

WASHINGTON, Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Political Solutions, LLC (GPS) a Washington, DC based International Relations firm has launched GPS/South Africa (GPS/SA) opening a new office in Pretoria, South Africa.  Heading the new Sub-Sahara Africa division is prominent South Africa attorney Mr. Ajay Sooklal who has represented and advised political and private sector leaders throughout the continent. Additionally, former Uganda Ambassador to the United States and World Bank executive Edith Ssempala will be advising GPS. 

The new GPS/SA office will work on enhancing U.S./Africa business development through Foreign Direct Investment and targeted Public Private Partnerships.  GPS is currently working with a group of Wall Street investment companies to assist several African countries it advises establish Sovereign Investment Funds.  GPS Managing Partner Aaron T. Manaigo stated "This has been some time in coming, I have worked with Ajay and Amb. Ssempala on a variety of projects in Africa for over a decade.  Our team here in DC has every confidence Ajay and Amb. Ssempala will be able to grow our footprint in South Africa and across the continent."  Ajay Sooklal added, "if Africa is not currently a part of your global business development plan, it should be and GPS/SA is here to assist."
