Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Averail Begins Trials of Breakthrough Mobile Content Solution

Averail announced today that it has commenced customer trials of Averail Access, its innovative mobile content management solution targeted at field sales, service and marketing teams within large enterprises. Participants are using the company’s SaaS-based solution which offers a secure and easy way to manage and share business documents on mobile devices. In addition, Averail announced that it will unveil its new service in a live demonstration today at the AWS re: Invent conference in Las Vegas.

According to Forrester Research, more than half of all companies support the use of employee owned smartphones for business. Yet even though Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programs are growing, employees are frequently blocked from reaching the same content on their smartphones and tablets as they are from their desktops. Frustrated employees often resort to finding work around solutions to copy or sync files to mobile devices to guarantee that content is readily available when they need it. In addition to lost employee productivity, these behaviors increase the risk of information loss or leakage as sensitive enterprise content moves outside corporate managed systems. Averail addresses these problems by delivering a trusted solution that gives employees a powerful and intuitive way to access, manage and share content on mobile devices while still meeting the demanding security needs of larger organizations.

“We want to transform the way people use business content on mobile devices by freeing them from traditional constraints while still safeguarding the organization,” said Marc Olesen, president and CEO of Averail. “We are pleased to have reached this important milestone and we look forward to the value our customers will realize during their trial period.”

"Users are going to do whatever they have to do to get their jobs done," said Craig Shumard, former Chief Information Security Officer at Cigna and now a principal at Shumard and Associates LLC. "This reality puts new pressures on IT and governance staff because the demand to make things work on mobile devices is coming from both the top down and the bottom up. Averail's solution represents an exciting new approach that we have not seen before. It extends the necessary controls over business content while giving users an easy to use mobile experience."

Ongoing trials will utilize the Averail Access app for iPad, available now on the App Store. Averail will be working closely with companies to gather feedback and optimize the experience. To participate in a trial, companies are encouraged to request an invitation via the mobile app or from the Averail website.

Averail was selected by Amazon Web Services to participate in the Startup Launch program to showcase a live demonstration of the Averail Access trusted mobile content solution at AWS re: Invent. The event is AWS’s global customer and partner conference dedicated to cloud computing. “We’re excited to have Averail participate and show off their innovation on AWS,” said Ariel Kelman, head of worldwide marketing at Amazon Web Services.
