Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

APS Moves Call Centres Back to the UK

LONDON, November 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

Advanced Payment Solutions (APS) are to bring their call centre back to the UK and create 300 new jobs over the next three years. APS provide the award winning Cashplus portfolio of electronic banking and payment products and are in a leading position to deliver payment services to local government.

APS's rapid growth, from a simple prepaid card company to an award winning alternative to high street banking, has been delivered by anticipating the needs of their customers, often in innovative ways.

In making the announcement Richard Wagner, CEO of APS, explained the reasoning behind the move: "We're bringing our call centre back to the UK to help the UK economy. Our customer satisfaction levels are very high at 94%[1]. However as we grow we want to ensure that all our customers, from consumers and businesses to government authorities, continue to receive the same high standard of support and attention."

Rt Hon Vince Cable MP, the Secretary of State for Business and Enterprise, welcomed the move: "APS's decision to re-establish its call centre on Merseyside is a welcome vote of confidence in the skills of the local workforce and Britain's educated and flexible workforce. Britain is open for business and the government's growth strategy is aiming to make Britain the best place in the world to set up and grow a business, and encouraging inward investment just like this one announced today."

APS are working with the UK based call centre - The Contact Company (TCC) and the new customer service team will be based in Liverpool.

Asif Hamid, CEO of The Contact Company, commented on the APS partnership, stating "The Merseyside Region continues to be a great place to provide well trained staff to serve UK customers. At TCC we are excited to provide a respected financial services company, like APS, a superior service solution that brings value to its customers."

1. In research carried out by Advanced Payment Solutions 94% of customers said that they would recommend the Cashplus to a family member or friend.
