Shane Co. Again to Donate $10,000 to Charities Chosen by Facebook Community
Jeweler's "We Donate, You Win!" Contest Also Awards Prizes to Entrants

DENVER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/27/12 -- Shane Co., the largest privately-held jeweler in the United States, today announced its third "We Donate, You Win!" sweepstakes, hosted on the company's Facebook page. The sweepstakes invites the public to nominate a charity of their choice to receive a donation from Shane Co. The 10 charities with the most nominations will be voted on by the Facebook community, and the four with the most votes will each receive $2,500. All entrants are also automatically entered to win one of four $250 Shane Co. gift cards.

"This contest just keeps getting better," said Rordan Shane, executive vice president of Shane Co. "For the last two years, we have donated substantial sums to some very worthy causes, and this year will be no exception. This time, we've opened it up and are allowing people to nominate charities that are close to their heart. How great is that!" Shane Co.'s social media specialist Chris Jones added, "We are excited to find out which charities will be nominated. This is such a great contest -- our Facebook fans can really make a difference here... and potentially win a gift card as well."

  • The "We Donate, You Win!" contest will run until 5pm MST on December 19, 2012.

  • The public is encouraged to enter via www.facebook.com/ShaneCompany.
