PetGadgets Launches Redesigned Website and Introduces New Products

PetGadgets, an online pet retailer focusing on unique and innovative pet products, has redesigned its website (www.petgadgets.com). This is the first major makeover since its inception in 2004.

The new look provides increased ease of navigation, larger sizing of both product descriptions and images, and ability to share each product via email, Facebook and Twitter. All of this helps provides a better shopping experience.

Another new feature added is Free Pet Ecards, which provides visitors the ability to send a free ecard for a variety of holidays and celebrations. Visitors simply click the tab at the top of each page to go to the website or directly by typing into their browser www.freepetecards.com.

PetGadgets continues to work with inventors to help bring their innovative products to market. The latest products we've helped get on store shelves are as follows:

·

The Hound Heater by Akoma Dog Products

This is the only doghouse heater currently on the market. With chilly temperatures already hitting most of the country, this product is already in high demand. It installs easily onto any existing doghouse with just a few tools. Our distribution partner, Curt Olvey, President of UTM Distribution, says, "Akoma’s unique products were a welcome addition to our product selection last year, so welcomed in fact, that Akoma’s ‘Hound Heater’ products were our best-selling products for fourth quarter 2011. Akoma products filled a void that we weren’t even aware of - a need for pet owners to provide a more comfortable doghouse experience for their pets. We would not have been aware of Akoma’s Hound Heaters were it not for the experienced eyes of the pet pros at Pet Gadgets!"

A customer wrote the following:

I have a young English pointer, the last few days the weather has been very cold (around -25), it is nice not having to worry about the weather when I leave for work knowing he will be fine outside with his warm doghouse.

The AnimAlarm

This portable alarm system sends an owner a text message when the inside of his or her car reaches either a preset high or low temperature. Owners can also call or text the device at any time to receive a current temperature reading.

A customer wrote the following:
Since purchasing our AnimAlarm, we have had peace of mind while traveling the UK this summer. We were surprised just how much the temperature changed, even on a cloudy day in the UK!
Thanks for this great device!

The Easy Out Pet Release

The Easy Out allows owners to release their pet from several floors or up to 50 yards away using a small remote control.  This one-of-a-kind gadget is different from pet collar triggered “automatic” openers on the market because it allows owners to control when their pet is released, and instead of just door openings it works on crates, pens, and most other latched enclosures or containment areas. It just hit the market in early November and has already received stellar reviews.

A customer wrote the following:
I'm just writing to let you know that I installed the Easy Out this morning and was able to use it when I arrived home tonight. It worked great and I did NOT have to listen to my beagle Goldie barking until I reached her crate and could let her out. She just came running to greet me. What a delight. I'm sure my neighbors appreciate it too. I love it so far and feel it is a very cool invention.
