STAVANGER, NORWAY -- (Marketwire) -- 11/16/12 -- On behalf of Statoil (OSLO: STL) (NYSE: STO), DNB has on 15 November 2012 purchased 618,750 shares for use in the group's Share saving plan. The shares have been acquired at a price of NOK 137.37 per share. Before distribution to the employees, the Share saving plan has 8,691,603 shares.
