Chattanooga Hotel Earns Silver Level LEED(R) Certification
SpringHill Suites Chattanooga Downtown/Cameron Harbor Recognized for Green Efforts

CHATTANOOGA, TN -- (Marketwire) -- 11/15/12 -- A business' commitment to the environment goes beyond recycling and low-flow showerheads. SpringHill Suites Chattanooga Downtown/Cameron Harbor, owned by 3H Group Hotels, is the first and only Chattanooga green lodging to hold this certification, and while the recognition is only recent, the goal was set at the start of development in 2010. Materials and resources credits, which encourage using sustainable building materials and reducing waste
Indoor environmental quality credits, which promote better indoor air quality and access to daylight and views
Participation in the LEED® program is voluntary, and projects must earn a minimum of 40 points on a 110-point LEED® rating system scale to become certified.
