justWink Greeting Cards announces Collaboration with A Fine Frenzy
Next generation of cards by American Greetings teams up with indie recording artist

CLEVELAND, Nov. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- When justWink wanted to find a song to cleverly communicate the excitement people feel about the new card line and celebrate its national launch, "Now is the Start" written and performed by A Fine Frenzy was the perfect fit. justWink, the new greeting card line from American Greetings (NYSE: AM) offers the next generation of greeting card shoppers something completely new and unexpected and also connects cards with the mobile world for the first time with a free greeting card app for iPhone, Android, and NOOK users.

Currently on tour promoting the newly released album Pines, Alison Sudol, known professionally as A Fine Frenzy, is an alternative singer songwriter who has joined together with American Greetings to help promote the justWink card line. Together, the justWink brand team and A Fine Frenzy have created a customized justWink card that Alison will autograph and give away free to her fans after each concert while on tour this fall. The first single off the album, "Now is the Start" can be heard accompanying the justWink videos at justWink.com and youtube.com/justdashwink.

"We're excited to work with Alison Sudol and A Fine Frenzy," said Rob Matousek, brand director for the justWink app. "Both justWink and A Fine Frenzy have great things on the horizon and we look forward to exploring where this new relationship takes us."

"I was thrilled when justWink approached us about using 'Now is the Start' to celebrate the launch of their card line," said Alison Sudol. "When we sat down to talk about the brand and its personality, we found a lot of common ground between justWink and my own artistic style, sense of humor and writing aspirations."

Consumers can find justWink cards at participating drug chains, grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide, as well as in American Greetings and Carlton Cards retail stores. The justWink app can be downloaded for free for Android, iPhone, and NOOK, giving users 24/7 access to the complete collection of digital cards that can be sent via text, email, or Facebook. The app now contains more than 500 cards as well as the ability to add signatures (or doodles) and photos to cards and Facebook-powered birthday reminders.
