Global Lending Services Introduces Senior Executive Team

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - November 08, 2012) -  Global Lending Services LLC, an automotive sub-prime lender founded by auto industry veteran Douglas Duncan, proudly announces its executive team members. 

After a long and expansive search, GLS has assembled a group of key executives, which collectively have over 100 years of industry experience, to lead the company to its goal of becoming a leader in the auto sub-prime industry. 

Leading the team as Chief Executive Officer, Gary Lorenz joined GLS in March and has lead integration of GLS and the platform and assets of Resurgent Auto Finance following their acquisition on Aug. 13, 2012.  Gary previously served as the President of Wells Fargo Auto Finance, where he was responsible for a $29B loan portfolio and operations in 49 states.  Gary also managed over 5,500 employees and 22,000 franchise and independent auto dealers in the U.S. and Canada.  Gary is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and the Hawkeye Institute of Technology with degrees in Accounting and Business.

Serving as Chief Financial Officer, Mark McCall also joined the team in March and has been instrumental in the process of developing relationships with GLS' equity partner, BlueMountain Capital Management, and GLS' debt facility provider, UBS. Mark has over 18 years of investment banking experience. He has worked with some of the world's top firms, including Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and he has raised over $80B in his career. Mark graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Economics and the University of Virginia with an M.B.A.

Robert Hurzeler serves as GLS' Chief Operating Officer and brings with him 25 years of progressive industry knowledge and experience. Bob is based at GLS' branch office in Greenville, SC where he manages teams of Underwriters, Funders, and Collectors. Prior to GLS, Bob worked with Wells Fargo Auto Finance, where he was responsible for all operations related to the 1.6M customer company and originations that peaked at $2B per month. Bob earned his B.A., Business Management from Concordia University.

Ken Gang, Chief Risk Officer, comes to GLS from Hyundai Capital America, where he served as the Head of Consumer Credit & Risk Management. Since joining the GLS team, Ken has developed a new, more competitive product and revamped the product that GLS purchased from RAF. Ken earned his BS, Marketing Management and his MBA, Finance and Accounting from the University of Illinois.

Lou Loquasto has been named the Chief Marketing Officer. Lou and his team are focused on developing efficient processes and effective communications for dealers, agents and sales representatives. Lou has also been supportive in developing a GLS market ready program. Prior to joining GLS, Lou worked at Wells Fargo as Head of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives and at Black Book as Head of Lender Solutions. Lou has also served on the Board of Directors of the National Auto Finance Association, serving one term as President. Lou earned his B.A., Marketing from the University of West Georgia and his MBA from Drake University.

And, Ryan Foster joined the GLS team as the General Counsel. Since joining the team, Ryan has been focused on developing processes that will ensure GLS is registered, licensed and compliant in each state. Ryan is a member of the North Carolina, DC and Pennsylvania bars. Ryan received his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was Articles Editor for the SMU International Law Review. He also completed Comparative Law studies at the University of Oxford, University College and earned his B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
