"When we saw Dickey's Barbecue Pit go up for sale in June, we knew that it would be the best adventure for our family," said Glenn Hughes who owns and operates this location with his wife Stephanie. "We can't wait to bring the joy of great tasting barbecue back to our community."

Glenn has spent 30 years in the technology sector, and his wife Stephanie has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years. The couple has three sons.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Oviedo is located at 5414 Deep Lake Road, Suite 1152, across from Kohl's and Wal-Mart. The store phone number is 407.571.9506. Dickey's is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

"We are unlike most restaurants because both my wife and I are actually in the store serving customers," said Glenn Hughes. "As owners, we want to make sure the community knows how passionate we are about our business and how dedicated we are to making our customers love our slow smoked barbecue."

About Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants
Dickey's Barbecue was founded by Travis Dickey with the goal of authentic slow smoked barbecue. More than 70 years later, the Dallas-based family run barbecue franchise still offers a quality selection of signature meats, home style sides, tangy barbecue sauce and free kids meals every Sunday.  All meats are slow smoked on site in each restaurant.  The fast-casual family-friendly concept has expanded to over 270 locations in 43 states and holds the title of the world's largest barbecue franchise. This year Nation's Restaurant News named Dickey's "Top Five Growth Chains", and they were also named "Best Franchise Deal" by QSR Magazine.  For more information, visit www.dickeys.com or for franchise opportunities call (866) 340-6188.
