Symbian to Publish Second Quarter and First Half 2008 Financial and Operational Results

She’s off “pursuing other interests” and will be replaced for the moment by Tim Wolfe, the head of Novell Americas. She only had the job since November. She was hired from Hyperion Solutions after a shakeup in Novell’s channel executive management team.

IBM Contributes Open-Source Code for Linux Supercomputers

IBM has released its first certified package of open source software for supercomputers based on Linux. The IBM HPC Open Software Stack is supposed to make clusters more productive and easier to manage and HPC, which has jumped the R&D/enterprise divide, is a high-growth sector although cluster-style programming competence may be thin on the ground.
